As at 31 December 2005, the
share capital of OAO RAO "UES of Russia" amounted to RUB21,558,451,684, and was
divided into 43,116,903,368 shares of RUB0.50 par value each, including 41,041,753,984
ordinary shares and 2,075,149,384 preferred shares.
139,989,946 shares of the Company were issued in 1993, and the second issue of
42,976,913,422 shares took place in 1995.
On 17 June 2003, the Federal Commission for Securities Market (FCSM) of
Russia approved the consolidation of additional share issues of OAO RAO "UES of
Russia":
